the custodians

The ranch and small vineyard are the creation of Danny and Meghan, a couple from Los Angeles with history in the area who, seeking property in beautiful Santa Barbara County, purchased several acres in the Santa Ynez Valley in 2016. They aspired to be in a quiet and beautiful setting, immersed in nature, enjoying the company of family and friends. With years of building their vision for the property, the ranch has become a favorite place to gather where simplicity, connection with nature, and warm hospitality are deeply rooted. Meghan and Danny's vision for Rolling Vines was clear from the start: to create a small ranch with a variety of fruit trees and a modest vineyard that produces a small batch of great wines, sharing the tranquility and beauty of their small slice of California.

The ranch is home to several three hundred year old live oak trees.

the vineyard dog

Lulu spends her free time laying out in the Santa Ynez sunshine, chasing rabbits, and regularly surveying the boundaries of her ranch.

Each year, we harvest from our ranch’s variety of plants, from olives and grapes to stone fruits and wild flowers.
